What ‘complete MDCAT Physics syllabus’ means here

Physics Lab follows the PMDC MDCAT Physics breakdown unit by unit, in chapter order. That is not a marketing sentence. It is the door list: Vectors and Equilibrium, Motion and Force, Work and Energy, Rotational Dynamics, Fluid Dynamics, Waves and SHM, Thermodynamics, Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Electromagnetism, Electromagnetic Induction, Alternating Current, Electronics, Dawn of Modern Physics, Atomic Spectra, and Nuclear Physics.

Four edges of the syllabus are easy to over-revise, so they are cut to the outcome list on purpose. Electronics stays on 13.1–13.2 (rectification and the PN junction — no transistors). Modern physics stays on 14.1 photons, Spectra stays on 15.1 line spectra. Nuclear stays on 16.1–16.4. That is how you revise without leaking into next year’s rumours.

How the complete-syllabus quizzes work

Pick a unit. Lock an option. The lab for that question opens — , a Balmer jump, a half-life curve, a diode that only lets the up-humps through. The picture is how you check your answer, not a hint you look at first.

Options mix each time, so the right physics is not always on B. If you miss, the note names the exact mistake. Retry is a new letter mix, not last time’s B.

  1. Open a PMDC unit from the home list or from its quiz page.
  2. Choose an answer; tutor mode explains your selection, while timed mode reveals explanations after submission.
  3. Read the formula line, the reason, and — if you missed — the common mistake.
  4. Move the lab until the picture and the question agree.
  5. Finish the unit. Retry. Open the next chapter.

Who this complete quiz bank is for

First-time MDCAT 2026 students who want chapter-wise Physics MCQs with answers, not a PDF dump. Repeaters who already ‘know the book’ and keep missing the same cosine. Teachers who need a lab that will not show the option before the student picks.

It is not a timed mock of the whole paper in one go. Practise unit by unit, then retry. Sixteen chapters is the whole syllabus.

FAQ

Common questions

How large is the current MDCAT Physics practice bank?

DIFF. currently has 12,278 Physics practice MCQs across 16 chapters. The separate Physics Labs collection contains 640 questions with interactive simulations. Practice-bank counts and simulation counts are separate; not every practice MCQ has a unique lab.

Can I choose my own Physics topics and test length?

Yes. Open any Physics chapter, choose the topics you want to revise, and set a test length up to 180 questions or the selected-topic total, whichever is smaller. Use a small focused drill for a weak concept and a longer timed drill to practise pacing. Chapters can be opened in any order.

Are Physics tests timed, and when can I see answers?

Choose Tutor Mode for explanations after each selection or Timed Exam for a countdown and explanations after submission. Submit Quiz opens the confirmation screen; Submit & View Explanations opens the complete review. You can use the paper map to revisit unanswered or flagged questions before submitting.

How should I combine formula sheets, notes and MCQs?

Read the relevant chapter notes first, then write the formula with its conditions and units. Solve a short drill without looking at the sheet, review mistakes, and check whether the error came from the concept, unit conversion or arithmetic. Return to a timed drill after you can explain why the correct option works.

Should I always use in Physics numericals?

Use the value of gravitational acceleration specified in the question. Some worked examples in these guides use m/s² for simpler arithmetic; a question that gives ² must be solved with 9.8. Keep units consistent and avoid rounding intermediate calculations unnecessarily.

Can I save the complete Physics quiz review?

Yes. Submit the test to open its review, then choose Download PDF or Download Review. The saved review contains the questions from that attempt, answer choices, your answers, available correct keys and explanations. Keep it as an error log and revisit the topics you missed.
