Fee and how to pay

  • Application processing fee: Rs 2,000 (non-refundable, non-transferable).
  • Generate the fee challan from the portal and deposit it at the Bank of Punjab (BOP) or National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) through branch banking, or via the 1Bill Invoice facility only.
  • ⚠️ The 1Bill top-up option must NOT be used. Upload the paid challan/receipt on the portal within the stipulated time — failure to pay in time means forfeiture of the admission and the up-gradation opportunity.
  • Overseas Pakistani quota seats carry an annual fee of US$10,000 (per the PM&DC notification dated 21-03-2025).

Step-by-step: how to apply

  1. Read the Prospectus and the Admission Policy 2026-2027 on uhs.edu.pk.
  2. Open the correct portal — publicmbbs.uhs.edu.pk for MBBS, publicbds.uhs.edu.pk for BDS. Medical and dental admissions are run separately; you must apply on each portal if applying to both.
  3. Register with your name, email address, CNIC/Passport/CRC number, cell phone number and a password.
  4. Complete the Profile section: name, domicile, contact information, address, nationality, gender, date of birth.
  5. Select the seat category/categories you are eligible for.
  6. Enter your educational qualifications — SSC and HSSC marks, year of passing, subjects studied — and your MDCAT score details.
  7. Upload scanned copies of the required documents in PNG or JPG format, each file no larger than 500 KB, clear and legible.
  8. Select ALL colleges in order of preference from the dropdown — every available option for your seat category must be selected.
  9. Review and acknowledge the prescribed undertaking, then submit. You may modify your application until the deadline — but the number and order of college preferences become final and unchangeable after the deadline.
  10. Download, print and review your application before final submission.

FAQs

I passed MDCAT 2024. Can I apply? Yes — the advertisement accepts MDCAT 2026, 2025 or 2024, with 55% for MBBS and 50% for BDS.

Can I change my college preferences after applying? You can modify your application until the submission deadline (30 Oct for MBBS). After the deadline, the number and order of college preferences are final and cannot be changed.

Will I get a call letter if selected? No — all merit and selection lists are published on uhs.edu.pk only. Check the website regularly; the university does not send separate call letters.

Can I apply for both MBBS and BDS? Yes, but separately — admissions are conducted on separate portals and each requires its own application.

What happens if I miss the fee payment deadline? Failure to deposit the fee within the specified period results in forfeiture of the admission and the opportunity for up-gradation, per the Admission Policy.

I have a Punjab domicile but studied elsewhere. Am I eligible? A Punjab domicile certificate (any district) is mandatory for all applicants except Overseas Pakistanis/Dual Nationals applying against their reserved seats.
