Least Repeated MDCAT MCQs — 401 Rare Questions

After you finish the 953 most-repeated questions, the leftovers are names and extra facts: who coined chromosome, who coined vitamin, where Taq enzyme comes from. Times is 1. They rarely come twice — you can still lose a mark if you skip them.

Most-repeated versus rare MCQs

The 953 most-repeated MCQs are the ideas that keep coming: Transport, pH, SVA, letter series. Rare MCQs are the other set — 401 extra questions that usually appear once. Start with the most-repeated set. Use this set later for names, history and uncommon list words.

Times is 1 on every rare question. That is the point. Do not stay here until the 953 are solid.

Five subjects, chapter by chapter

Same PMDC chapter tags as the most-repeated set. Chemistry rare MCQs include C9 Solutions — the most-repeated Chemistry set has no C9. Physics rare MCQs are still not the 640 labs.

  • Biology — 187 rare MCQs in 16 chapters. Extra Biology facts — names and history that usually come only once.
  • Chemistry — 84 rare MCQs in 20 chapters. Extra Chemistry, including C9 solutions. Named reactions that rarely come again.
  • Physics — 77 rare MCQs in 16 chapters. Extra Physics from measurements to nuclear. No labs here — those stay on Quizzes.
  • English — 33 rare MCQs in 6 chapters. Harder list words and extra grammar that rarely come again.
  • Logical Reasoning — 20 rare MCQs in 6 chapters. Extra series, calendar and coding questions that usually come only once.

What rare MCQs actually look like

  • Biology: who coined chromosome, gene, hormone, ecology; PCR Mullis; Ti plasmid; Chargaff.
  • Chemistry: quantum history, named reactions, solutions, polymer facts.
  • Physics: Lenz as energy conservation, photoelectric one-liners, binding energy — drills, not pictures.
  • English: harder list words (ephemeral, obdurate, paucity).
  • Logical Reasoning: Fibonacci-like series, reverse-alphabet codes, false dichotomy.

How to practise rare MCQs without wasting a week

  1. Finish the most-repeated chapter first.
  2. Open Rare MCQs → the same chapter. Lock. Read the why. Do not retry unless you missed a name you should know.
  3. Genetics rare MCQs is the only split quiz (31 questions, two quizzes). Everything else is one quiz.

FAQ

Common questions

How many MDCAT past-paper questions are available?

The current DIFF. archive contains 10,894 imported questions across UHS, KPK/KMU, NUMS, Sindh and BUMHS collections. Choose a board and year in Past Papers to see its available paper and question count. Archive counts can differ from an exam's original length when the imported source is incomplete.

How do I practise a past paper on DIFF.?

Open Past Papers, choose the examining board, then select an available year. Work through the questions using the navigation controls and paper map. Tutor Mode provides feedback while practising; in a timed session, explanations stay hidden until you submit. Review unanswered and flagged questions before confirming submission.

Do past papers include answer keys and explanations?

The review shows the marked answer and explanation where they are available in the imported collection. Questions without a verified key are labelled in the review. Read the explanation and check your reasoning; if a key conflicts with the original examining authority's published key, use that authority's current correction.

Can I save a complete past-paper review as PDF?

Submit the paper and select Submit & View Explanations to open its full review. Download PDF saves a paginated copy with the questions, choices, your answers, available keys and explanations. Download Review saves an HTML copy. If automatic downloading is blocked, tap Save prepared PDF after the file is ready.

How are chapter practice and past papers different?

Chapter practice contains 50,635 MCQs organised by subject and topic, with custom tests up to 180 questions. Past papers preserve the imported board/year grouping. Use focused chapter drills to correct weak concepts, then use past papers to practise combining subjects and managing time.

Official UHS MDCAT past papers from 2008 to 2024, organized subject-wise: 1st Biology, 2nd Chemistry, 3rd Physics, 4th English.
